The Kansas City Chiefs get the network's top treatment for Sunday's home game against the New York Jets. CBS has made the game its featured early broadcast, with Jim Nantz and JJ Watt in the booth, SB Nation reported through Yahoo. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Eastern, which is noon at Arrowhead.

Because Nantz and Watt are on the call, the game will reach much of the country, not just the Kansas City and New York markets. SB Nation pointed viewers to the coverage maps at 506sports.com to check whether their area gets the game. Yahoo Sports' Week 9 announcer list has Tracy Wolfson on the sideline.

The national spotlight comes at an awkward time for Kansas City. The Chiefs opened 5-0 and have now dropped two straight on the road. They were held to a field goal in a 20-3 loss at Seattle, then lost 28-24 at Denver last week. That makes Sunday the first home game since the 22-6 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Chiefs are 3-0 at home this season after also beating Indianapolis and Denver.

What it means for Sunday

Seven games in, Kansas City has outscored opponents 167-131, about 24 points scored and 19 allowed per game. The recent trend is less comfortable. The Chiefs scored 27 points over the two losses after averaging 28 during the 5-0 start. The defense that allowed 6 points to the Chargers then gave up 48 over the next two weeks. A home game against the Jets is the obvious chance to stop the slide before a Week 10 trip to Atlanta.

The market expects a comfortable Chiefs win. On this site's board for the game, which tracks 12 venues, Kansas City is favored at -441 on Novig. Polymarket has the best price anywhere at -439, so the moneyline barely moves from venue to venue. The Jets are +413 on Novig.

The spread shows more spread between venues. Novig has the Chiefs favored by 9.5 at -100, while theScore Bet has the best Chiefs number at -8.5, priced at -115. Sportsbook hold on the spread ranges from 2.9% to 5.0%, and on the moneyline from 3.2% to 5.5%.

The total is 47.5 on Novig, with the over at -106 and the under at +104. Pinnacle lists the best under at 48.5, priced at -111. Chiefs games have gone past 47.5 combined points only three times in seven tries: the shootouts with the Colts (63) and Raiders (57) and last week's loss in Denver (52). The average Chiefs game has produced about 43 points.

Looking ahead, the board already has the Chiefs favored at -182 on Novig for the November 15 game at Atlanta, with DraftKings the best price at -175. How Kansas City plays Sunday will likely shape that line before it settles.
